Tick Tock

It's coming to the time for the FIFTH Annual Golf Tournament and Charity Auction in memory of Mark and to raise as much money as we can for such a good cause - Manorlands Hospice.

This year the event will be held on Saturday 25 September at Fardew Golf Course and the day will take the same course as previous years, twice round the 9-hole course and back to the Shoulder of Mutton, Thwaites Village where there will be a presentation for the Winner, 2 Longest Drives and 2 Nearest the Pin.

There will also be certificates for various other categories and will include Best Junior and Worst Golfer of the Day.

Andy and Lynn Beveridge, mine hosts at the Shoulder of Mutton, have kindly donated trophies for the Golf Tournament and will be providing refreshments for the evening event. Ian Mcgee will once again act as auctioneer and there will be the usual raffles, karaoke and disco.

The price for the 18-hole golf at Fardew is £35 which includes a hot sandwich and coffee/tea before teeing off and at least £30.00 of that will be going directly to Manorlands. The more people the more money we raise! Any donations for the auction and raffle will be gratefully received.

We raised £3,600.00 last year and anywhere near that this year would be fantastic! So come on, dig deep and let's have a another awesome day!
